Just wanted to send our thanks and appreciation to Bathiya for his contribution to making our holiday in Sri Lanka so special. We spent a week with Bathiya and from the moment he collected us from the airport we knew that we were going to be looked after perfectly. He proved to be knowledgeable, reliable, polite and a very careful driver - we felt safe in his hands! I would say that we also had alot of fun during our hours travelling together and we learned so much about this beautiful country which Bathiya is so proud of. Thank you so much Bathiya - we will certainly contact you if and when we come back to Sri Lanka - wouldn't be the same without you.

Bhathiya has been a very good and save driver and a very good guide on our trip to Sri Lanka in November 2014. The whole trip, from airport pick-up to airport drop-off was perfectly organized, all hotels were well chosen with good food and friendly staff, Bhathiya has a nice and new car which was again and again cleaned every morning. All activities and places we visitied were interesting and allowed us to get a very positive impression of the whole country, even though our trip was just 5 days long.

Also, what was much appreciated, the whole planning in advance by email, which was very friendly, helpful and reliable, which we discovered, was not the case with every driver you find on Google, Tripadvisor etc.! Thanks for this Bhathiya!

We definitely recommend Bhathiya as a tourist driver for a stay in Sri Lanka and of course, if we will come back to Sri Lanka once again (what we difinitely will), we will try to meet up with him for some rice and curry.

Nach zwei Tagen Aufenthalt in Negombo, begann unsere Rundreise, unser Fahrer, Guide und treuer Begleiter für die nächsten 13 Tage war Mr. Bhathiya Guruge . Von Anfang an stimmte die Chemie, in seiner freundlichen und unkomplizierten Art hatten wir sofort das Gefühl einen Freund an unserer Seite zu haben, der uns mit großer Begeisterung , sein Land, seine Sprache, die Kultur und die Menschen näher brachte.
Jeden Tag aufs Neue ,stellte er seine Fahrkunst unter Beweis und jonglierte uns sicher und perfekt durch den für uns undurchschaubaren Verkehr. Für uns war es eine Reise zu "dritt" in wunderbarer , unkomplizierter Stimmung,reich an Erlebnissen und wunderschönen Erinnerungen an dieses zauberhafte Land und seine warmherzigen Menschen .
Jedem der sich mit dem Gedanken befasst ,nach Sri Lanka zu reisen ,können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen es auf diese Weise zu tun.
Herzlichen Dank für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub , gern werden wir wieder kommen.

We decided to go to Sri Lanka on honeymoon and we are so pleased we did. We were met at Columbo airport by Bharti who made us feel very relaxed and welcome as soon as we met him. He was very chatty and friendly and started teaching us the language during our short journey to our hotel. Bhathi became our tour guide for our 10 day stay in Sri Lanka and during this time he was incredibly friendly, passionate about his country, knowledgable and showed us sites I'm sure we would never had seen had it not been for him. We were lucky enough to ride elephants, visit Buddhist temples, hold a monkey,w turtle and a crocodile and even let fish nibble our toes! He took us to kandy where he took us to the local fruit and veg market. We are both foodies so this was a particular highlight for us. We mentioned we would like to go to Galle so he took us there too where he lives with his family. His wife made us the most amazing authentic curry and accompaniments for lunch! This was very special as we had an insight into his life with his family. They are a truly lovely family!
I cannot recommend Bhathiya enough and would have no hesitation in contacting him again when we visit beautiful Sri Lanka again.

Dear Bathi, dear aiya, i can't thank you enough for everything you did for me. Thank you for showing me in 7 days! the best of Sri Lanka!
As a blond tall woman, I was a litle bit concerned but you made vanish the slightest fear. You made me feel very comfortable and safe.
You taught me singhalese, a lot about your cuture and country and even showed me some new yoga postures. And that in a beautiful locations. You always made the highest effort to make my too short holiday a fantastic journey, that I will never forget.
I highly recommend traveling with Bathiya, as with him you not only have the best of Sri Lanka in one person, a lovely person who is open to share everything he knows, as a true buddhist, and a guide and yoga teacher.
I really enjoyed traveling with you -and what is even more precious- enjoyed very much the special connection we made.

We have been on tour with Bhati in Feb 2013 and it has been a real great time.

Just a few things to say about Bhati:
1. In the national park he saw the Leopard first
2. If you are running out of ideas, he comes along and provides something new.
3. He gave us a ride wherever we wanted to go and he did it in a safe manner
4. this guy is on time…he has been faster than the train from Ella to Nuwara Eliya
5. He’s a good Caram player, I was almost beaten by him
6. He taught us some Sri Lankan phrases

We had such a great tour with Bhathiya. He is a knowledgeable and friendly guy.

I met Bhathiya by doing Yoga lessons with him (arranged through the hotel). He is a great Yoga teacher! So I was very happy to find out he is also a tour guide. We had tour with Yoga thrown in!!! Very cool!

The tour was great! The van was spacious and clean. With A/C. Bhathiya would let us stop for king cocobut when we had the thirst for one. He tought us how to say a few Sri Lankan words/phrases.

Sri Lanka itself is a beautiful country, and very interesting. It has amazing beaches and an interesting historical background (which is very well preserved).

I would recommend Bhathiya's tours to anyone intested in seeing Sri Lanka. Bhathiya ia a lovely guy, very knowledgeable and funny! He is now our friend (not just our tour guide).

wir wollten ein spannenden, kulturreichen, kulinarisch vielseitigen Urlaub in Sri Lanka erleben. Gepaart mit atemberaubender Flora und Fauna, atemberaubenden Stränden und viel Zeit zum entspannen. Unsere Reise sollte mit einer Rundreise beginnen und mit Strandspaziergängen enden.

Auf der Suche nach einer geeigneten Tour, sind wir auf einen sehr persönlichen, professionellen und vor allem sehr liebenswerten Tour Guide gestoßen, dich Bhathiya. Die Rundfahrt mit Bhathiay Tours hat perfekt funktioniert! Die Organisation hat sehr gut funktioniert und wir konnten uns immer auf Dich verlassen. Du warst immer pünktlich und das Auto sehr gepflegt, was das Reisen sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Wir haben uns immer sehr wohl und vor allem sicher gefühlt.

It was a great experience travelling with Bhathiya Chamal... He was very friendly and kind hearted person... He took us to wonderful places n explain to us the history behind the places... The best thing of the agent is he will tell us the story of the place before bringing us there... It was so sweet of him to bring a cake and arrange a wonderful party for my dad's 60 th birthday... I will recommend my other friends if there are going to Sri Lanka to take him as a tour guide.... Bhathiya chamal was a good agent.... He treated us like a family member... The last day he asked his wife to cook for us so Sri Lankan food... It was so sweet of him n his wife to do that... I truly recommend him to any one who is going to Sri Lanka....
