Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by your experienced Tourist Guide Lecturer / Chauffeur Guide, who will accompany you throughout your adventure.
After a long international flight, today is intentionally kept relaxed. You will be transferred to your hotel in Negombo, a beautiful coastal town located close to Bandaranaike International Airport.
Check into your hotel, settle in and take some time to recover from the flight and jet lag. Depending on your arrival time and energy level, you may enjoy a gentle walk along the beach or simply relax at the hotel and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Overnight: Negombo
After breakfast, begin your journey towards the magnificent Knuckles Mountain Range, one of Sri Lanka’s most spectacular mountain regions.
The Knuckles Range takes its name from its distinctive mountain peaks, which resemble the knuckles of a clenched fist. The area is famous for its misty mountains, cloud forests, waterfalls, streams, traditional villages and exceptional biodiversity.
Begin your hiking adventure through the mountain landscape, following natural trails through forests, grasslands and rural areas. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the valleys and surrounding peaks while your guide introduces you to the local environment, plants, wildlife and village life.
After the hike, settle into your mountain accommodation and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Overnight: Knuckles Mountain Range
Today is dedicated to exploring the spectacular Knuckles Mountain Range on foot.
After breakfast, continue your mountain hiking experience through forests, mountain trails, streams and beautiful natural landscapes. Depending on the selected trail and weather conditions, the hike may include waterfalls, viewpoints, forest paths and mountain ridges.
The Knuckles region is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, with rich biodiversity and relatively untouched landscapes. You may encounter colourful birds, butterflies and other wildlife along the way.
Take time during the hike to enjoy the fresh mountain air, spectacular scenery and peaceful surroundings before returning to your accommodation.
